This is the tour we send new riders on first. Skyline Boulevard (CA-35) runs the ridgeline of the Santa Cruz Mountains under a redwood canopy, with fast, well-sighted sweepers and almost no traffic on a weekday morning. It's an easy loop with a real payoff: canyon views on one side, the Pacific on the other, and a coffee stop worth the detour.
